Dr. Taylor Wallace

Dr. Taylor C. Wallace is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Think Healthy Group, LLC, an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at George Washington University, and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. His academic research interests are in the area of nutritional interventions to promote healthy aging and prevent the onset of chronic disease. Dr. Wallace has a PhD and an MS in Food Science and Nutrition from The Ohio State University and a BS in Food Science from the University of Kentucky. He operates the popular food blog www.DrTaylorWallace.com, is a member of the Forbes Health Advisory Board, and a regular guest commentator in the mainstream media, as regularly seen on numerous daytime nationally syndicated television shows and news networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, and News Nation. He is a fellow of the American Society for Nutrition (FASN), American College of Nutrition (FACN), and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (FAND), as well as the 2015 recipient of its Charles A. Regus Award given by the ACN for original and impactful nutrition research. Dr. Wallace is a Senior Fellow of the Center for Magnesium Education & Research and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of the Dietary Supplements, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Journal of the American Nutrition Association, and Nutrition Section co-Editor of Annals of Medicine. Dr. Wallace has edited seven academic textbooks, authored over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters, and is author of the mainstream cookbook, Sizzling Science. The Huffington Post has referenced Dr. Wallace “the nation’s premier food and nutrition guru” and The Doctor Oz Show was the first to deem him “America’s Favorite Food Scientist” during his seven year as cast on the show. In 2021, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky bestowed upon Dr. Wallace the title of Kentucky Colonel, the highest civilian honor, for his noteworthy national accomplishments in the fields of nutrition and food science, as well as his philanthropic service to the state and nation.
