Steven Jennings is a seasoned leader with 28+ years of experience driving purposeful change at Ahold Delhaize USA. As the Stakeholder Relations Lead, Steven fosters strong, collaborative relationships with individuals, organizations, and communities to drive impactful initiatives and focuses on aligning diverse interests, facilitating communication, and building trust to advance customers’ healthier living journeys, promote sustainable practices, and create long-term value for all stakeholders.

As the Brand Lead for Health & Sustainability, Steven spearheads the implementation of the company’s local health and sustainable retailing strategy. His efforts focus on four strategic pillars:

  • Expanding access to healthier choices with personalized guidance.
  • Elevating transparency and advancing sustainable products.
  • Reducing food and plastic packaging waste while enhancing food donations.
  • Championing bold climate action.

Steven’s work reflects a commitment to providing focus the needs of associates, customers, and local communities, fostering a culture of sustainability and health-conscious retailing.

Beyond his professional achievements, Steven is deeply committed to community service. He is a Certified Mentor with the American Transplant Foundation and serves as a Volunteer Ambassador for the Gift of Life Program, advocating for organ donor awareness and education. In 2012, Steven donated a kidney to a co-worker, and he continues to inspire others by speaking on behalf of living donors throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
