Paul Denslow is the CEO and Co-Founder of Intus Bio, the company behind GutID — the world’s first true microbiome test.  Paul began his career in finance before moving into biotech, driven by a desire to close the gap between cutting-edge science and clinical practice — an issue especially acute in the microbiome. 

The microbiome — the vast community of bacteria living within us — is widely described as the biggest opportunity in healthcare, given its proven influence across a broad range of diseases and health outcomes. Despite its importance, the absence of accurate technology has kept it outside of routine clinical care.

Intus Bio was founded to change this. Combining new science, the latest DNA sequencing technology and AI, the company created Titan-1 — the first platform to produce and analyze high-resolution microbiome data at scale. Titan-1, which is patented, independently validated, and recognized as the most advanced microbiome technology in the world, is already demonstrating the power to change our understanding of disease and through GutID, transform health.

 Paul is originally from the UK and is now based in California, where he and his wife are raising their three young children.
