Mandy Katz, MS, RD, LDN

Mandy Katz is the Director of Healthy Living for Giant Food, an Ahold Delhaize USA retailer serving Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Washington D.C. In her role, she oversees Giant Food’s Healthy Living program which focuses on nutrition education, healthy merchandising and food as medicine partnerships.

Prior to becoming a dietitian, Mandy worked in food and healthcare marketing for 18 years, serving some of the nation’s largest food companies and providers.   She holds a M.S. in Human Nutrition from SUNY Oneonta, a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Morgan State University and a B.A. in Literature from West Chester University.  She was named the 2022 RDBA Retail Dietitian of the Year by the Retail Dietitian’s Business Alliance and was featured in the 2022, 13th Annual Showcase of 10 RDs Who Are Making a Difference in Today’s Dietitian. She has presented locally and nationally and hosted over 200 podcasts for Healthy Living by Giant podcast.
