The launch of the Nourishing Change Retail Health Steering Committee marks a groundbreaking strategic partnership led by Kroger Health, aligning with HLTH’s mission to accelerate innovation and improve access across the care ecosystem.

Kroger Health, together with leading retailers, is launching the Nourishing Change Steering Committee, a first-of-its-kind coalition uniting retailers, pharmacies, and health innovators to break down silos and make well-being more accessible for all. The Steering Committee, which includes members Ahold Delhaize USA, CPESN, and Hy-Vee with Kroger Health serving as Chair and founding convener, reflects a new era of collaboration across food, retail, and healthcare.

The Steering Committee will guide the broader Nourishing Change Movement, an industry effort to reinvent the healthcare system by creating a clinically integrated network of strategically aligned pharmacies and retailers. Together, these leaders aim to reimagine how retail health is delivered and demonstrate the power of industry alignment to advance whole-person care and drive meaningful health outcomes at scale.

In the coming months, the Movement will convene industry-led working groups focused on key priorities including data and interoperability, food for health, professional development, and clinical and payment models, translating shared vision into actionable solutions that strengthen retail’s role in delivering more connected, equitable, and person-centered care.
